Lace Pirate Stripe Corset Belts - New at RedCurryDesigns

Check out my new corset belt design at RedCurryDesigns - dramatic black and white striped cotton with a black lace overlay. This belt was inspired by Duchess Intimates in downtown Campbell, CA. I'll be adding more colors and photos in the next week or two.

My Favorite TimeSaver for Etsy Sellers

One of my goals on this blog is to share helpful tips I've learned running my Etsy shop RedCurryDesigns. One of the most time consuming things to do is changing listings for a sale. Sure it's easy to say you're having a sale in your shop announcement, but it's much more effective to announce your sale in each listing. Enter Etsy On Sale. I don't usually pay for web services, but this one saves me so much time it's worth it. You sign up using a Google account and buy credits, the minimum is $10, paid via Paypal. Then you can schedule a sales event. You can choose either your entire shop or one of your shop sections. You then choose either a percentage off or an amount. It's that easy. You can also add text to the beginning of each listing, add tags, show the original price, choose when to start and stop the sale, and auto renew your sales. Here is an example of one way your listings can look: Sale Items.

No more dragging my feet....

Hi everyone, I've finally started my Red Curry Designs blog! I was going to learn Wordpress and custom design everything but I've decided to just go with the easier and therefore much quicker option. This blog is going to cover a couple of things: My Etsy business RedCurryDesigns and what I've learned there over the past few years as well as my sewing projects including corsets and obi belts for work, a variety of costumes, and easy to sew crafts. So welcome and enjoy!
